Day 5: Kibale National Park-chimp trekking.

After breakfast, report to Kanyanchu Tourist centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track Chimpanzee in the forest. The National Park is a home of the endangered Chimpanzee and boosts of having one of the highest concentrations of primates in East Africa. Primate Species includes endangered chimpanzee, threatened red colobus monkey, Black and White colobus, Blue monkey bush babies and the Nocturnal Potto. After lunch, have an optional nature walk to the Bigodi Wetland. This is a community based activity that was set up to enable tourists give back to the community and yet enjoy the nature offered by the swamp like many colorful butterflies, birds and other plant species.

Day 6: Kibale- Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After Breakfast, depart northwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park and arrive in the Afternoon. Have lunch at the lodge and relax for a while. After lunch, go for a nature walk to Maramagambo forest or alternatively visit the sceneic explosion craters (Optional activity). View a variety of plant and tree species. With the same nature walk, you can view a variety of birds, butterflies and primates. Visit the bat cave and take a closer look at the bats. If lucky, you will spot the rock pythons that occasionally feed on the Bats.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After an early morning breakfast, go for a game drive heading for the mating grounds of the Uganda Kobs. Also view other animals like lions, Elephants, Topi, Bushbucks and Buffaloes. After Lunch, we will go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel at 15.00hrs.This is a natural channel that joins Lake Edward to Lake George. Actually this is one of your highlights for the Safari. On this cruise you will view abundant birdlife, buffaloes, Elephants and perhaps the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth-Bwindi.
After an early breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National

park through Ishasha sector famous for the tree climbing lions, if lucky, you will spot some. Bwindi is famous for the Rare Mountain gorillas. This National Park also harbors at least 120 animal species including chimpanzees, L’Hoest’s monkeys, red and blue tailed monkeys

Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
After an early breakfast, Set off for gorilla trekking. hikers will love it Gorilla trekking is unpredictable, it is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike, the gorilla trekking may take 2-8hours depending on where the gorillas built a nest the previous night. Expect to walk long distances in steep conditions sometimes with rain overhead before you encounter any gorillas. You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery the rainforest and landscape have to offer. Your efforts will be rewarded when you have an encounter with the humble giants. For conservation purposes, the time spent with gorillas is one hour.

Day 10: Bwindi-Lake bunyonyi.

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi with packed lunch. Drive through Kigezi terraces and view a variety of terraced hills. Arrive at Lake Bunyonyi in the afternoon. You can relax for the entire afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at Nature’s Prime Island/Overland resort/Bushara island/ FB.

Day 11: Lake Bunyonyi.

After an early breakfast, you can involve yourself in any activity like Bird Watching, a boat ride, swimming, a village walk to the Batwa and Bakiga communities. Take note of their local livelihoods. Return to the lodge for Lunch. You can relax this afternoon.

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi -Lake Mburo National Park.
After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park with a lunch stop in Mbarara town. Drive through the famous long horned Ankole Farms. Arrive late in the afternoon go for an evening game drive through the fringing swamp area. View a variety of Zebras, rare and shy sitatunga, antelope, topi and the gigantic eland.

Day 13: Lake Mburo National Park.

After an early breakfast, you will take an interesting safari walk, this park boosts the best Nature walks in all parks and it’s only this park that you can see Game/wild life on a walk. Drive to Kampala and stop at some interesting places like the equator. You can have a lunch, take some photographs or buy some souvenirs from one of our craft shops, Classic African Art Kayabwe and buy some souvenirs. Arrive in Kampala in the evening.

Day 14: Kampala City Tour-Departure.

You will get a chance to visit some interesting places in Kampala like the Kasubi tombs- A burial ground for Buganda Kings,Namugongo Maytrs Shrine or Bahai temple or, you can alternatively go for a quad bike or white water rafting in Jinja. Transfer to the Airport in the evening and arrive in time for your departure flight or Hotel . Depart with beautiful memories of your safari.
