| Day
1: Airport Transfer You
will be picked up from your hotel by your safari
guide and transferred to Entebbe airport for your
flight to Kidepo National Park. This hidden valley
in the extreme northeast of the country, along
the border with Sudan, is considered by many to
offer the most stunning of any National Park in
Uganda. Surrounded by mountains, the park is notable
for a number of animals that are found nowhere
else in Uganda, including Cheetahs, Ostriches
and bat – eared foxes. You will reach in
the afternoon to have lunch and go for an evening
game drive. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Rest
Camp (FB).
Day
2/3: Excursion to Karamaja You
will go for an early morning game drive to search
for early risers and predators. Retire for breakfast
and lunch at the Lodge and then in the evening
go for an excursion to Karamajong. Kidepo National
Park is home to a total of 86 mammal species,
with approximately 460 bird species and five different.
Dinner and overnight at Apoka Rest Camp
Day
4: To Murchison falls National park Go
for an early morning game drive to retire for
breakfast then fly to Pakuba. On arrival at Pakuba,
you will be welcomed by your safari guide. The
guide will pick you up and take you to the Top
of the falls. Dinner and over night at Paraa safari
Lodge or Nile safari Camp
Day
5: The launch cruise along the Kazinga channel Go
for an early morning game drive on the Northern
Bank of the Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison
Falls National Park, whose palm-studded grassland
supports dense populations of lion, buffalo, elephant
and Uganda Kob, offers you wildlife enthusiasts
a thrilling opportunity to experience Uganda’s
biodiversity. You are able to view those animals
that are unique to the African Savannah like giraffe,
elephant, antelope, lion, and the Uganda Kob.
Return to the lodge for mid morning breakfast,
as you relax to wait for Lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a
launch cruise on the Nile River. The cruise takes
you to the Bottom of the roaring falls where you
will see huge crocodiles, schools of hippos, buffaloes,
elephants and a variety of water birds like herons,
ducks, cormorants, bee-eaters, skimmers, kingfishers,
fish eagle and the rare shoebill. Return to the
lodge for dinner and overnight at Paraa safari
Lodge or Nile safari Camp
Day
6: Transfer to Fort portal You
will be picked by our guide who will take you
for your flights to Mweya Airstrip.
The flight takes an hour. Have Lunch then after
go for an afternoon sight seeing tour around the
crater lakes region. Your will find species like
Flamingos and also see at Katwe salt lake how
salt is traditionally mined here in Africa. Dinner
and over night Mweya safari lodge/ Jacana/ Institute
of Ecology.
Day
7: Game drive/ launch cruise along the Kazinga
channel Before
dawn you will wake up and go for an early morning
game drive along the Queens mile or the Kasenyi
miles Tracks. You will search for animals like
Elephants, Lions, Leopards, and Hyenas among others.
Return to the lodge for mid morning breakfast.
In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride along
the Kazinga Channel. This provides you with an
opportunity to vie water game like Hippos which
breathe and squirt mere feet away from the boat,
buffaloes and many birds like Great White and
Pink-Backed Pelicans, Great and Long-Tailed Cormorants,
African Jacana, Open-Billed Stork, Malachite and
Pied Kingfishers are commonly seen. Dinner and
over night Mweya safari lodge/ Jacana/ Institute
of Ecology.
Day
8: Kyambura Chimpanzee tracking / Back to Kampala In
the morning you will transfer to the Kyambura
region to go track chimpanzees and other primates.
The walk through the Kyambura Sector will also
reward you with other primates such as colobus
monkeys, red tailed monkeys and bush babies. After
the tracking, you will be transferred to the airstrip
to meet your private charter plane to Entebbe
International Airport.
