3: Murchison falls National Park
After an
early tea or coffee with your packed breakfast
and lunch transfer to Kaniyo Pabidi for birding
which will double as a nature walk and botany
watch you will have a picnic lunch after which
you will continue your bird watch. Expect to see
, blue breasted and African dwarf Kingfisher,
Puvells Illadopsis, Forest Robin. In the evening
drive to the top of the falls to see the bat hawk
and the night jar on your way back to camp.

4: Murchison falls National Park
After breakfast
go for morning birding to Buligi circuit and the
delta area, after lunch at the camp you will go
on boat ride to the bottom of the falls hence
your afternoon birding, expect to see the Red
throated, Carmine, little, and blue breasted bee
eaters, Shoe bill, Denharms Bustard, white broad
buffalo weaver.

5: Transfer to Fort Portal-Kibale National Park
After breakfast,
you will transfer to Fort Portal have a picnic

6: Kibale National Park
Arise early,
after an early breakfast with you packed lunch
(alternatively order traditional food from Sebitoli)
head for Sebitoli birding site. This part has
been confirmed, as the best birding spot of the
park however birding on the main road alone can
be very satisfying. Visit the Bigodi wetland sanctuary
after lunch. Specials in this park include tiny
sunbird, joyful cabanis grenbul, Olive long tailed
cuckoo, Black faced rufous warbler, Red tailed
bristle bill, bocage's bush-shrike, Toro olive
and Cameroon sombre greenbuls, green twinsport,
Brown and scaly breasted illadopsis, Ludher's
bush-shrike. African pitas, green throated and
blue throated sunbird, Green headed sunbird, brown
capped weaver, velvet mantled drongo, pink footed
puff back,

7: Transfer to Semliki National Park
After an
early breakfast transfer to Semuliki National
park approximately 2½ hours drive from
Fort Portal. You will have a whole day bird watch
along the Kirumira Trail the most popular trail
at this lowland forest. You will have a picnic
lunch at a spot of your choice. Semuliki National
Park is inhabited by some Congo biome species
including the Red billed, forest scrub robin black
wattled, black bill and white crested hornbill,
pygmy kingfisher, African piculet, White bellied,
Zenkel honey guide, red rumped tinkerbird, fire
crested alethe, red breasted sparrow hawk, rufous
sided broadbill, Nkurengu rail, dwarf, piping,
white thighed hornbills, red bellied and blue
billed malimbe, Green tailed bristle bill, Long
tailed hawk, pale fronted and chestnut breasted
negro finches, black winged oriole, and many more
others.

8: Semliki National Park
We again
leave early for the Semuliki National Park. Depending
on the results of the previous day’s birding;
a choice remains for the group to decide either
to re-visit the Kirumira trail or follow the main
road and Sempaya trails.

9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer
to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in time
for lunch and later a boat ride on the Kazinga
channel this waterway is a birders paradise and
those who experience it, consider it the highlight
of their entire African safari. Birds to look
out for include the Great Snipe, the African Fish
Eagles, Pallid Harrier, Gull billed Tern, Lesser
Kestrel and Shoebill stork, fawn breasted Waxbill,
Sulphur breasted bush shrike, dark capped yellow
warbler, red headed blue bill, African Fin foot
and the Eurasian golden oriole.

10: Transfer to Bwindi National Park

drive south to Bwindi National Park with your

11: Bwindi National Park & Transfer to Lake
Bunyonyi
You will
have an early start long before sunrise and may
enjoy birding on the self-guided munyaga trail.
Forest birding at Bwindi ranks the best in Uganda
and Africa as well. You will carry a packed lunch.
Bwindi is home to over 23 highly localized Albertine
Rift endemics present. Special birds include Black-faced
Rufous Warbler, Red-throated Alethe, Black-faced
and Black-throated Apalis, Rwenzori Batis, Mountain
Masked Apalis, Grauer's Warbler, Dusky-blue Flycatcher,
Yellow-eyed Black-Flycatcher, Chapin's Flycatcher,
Ashy Flycatcher, Chin-spot Batis, Blue-headed
Sunbird, Northern Double-collared Sunbird, Stuhlmann's
Starling, Olive Thrush, Grauer's Rush-warbler,
Neumann's Warbler and Red faced Woodland-Warbler.
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, Dinner and overnight

12: Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast,
explore the beautiful scenery of Lake Bunyonyi
is the second deepest lake in East and central
Africa housing over 25 scenic Islands each with
a different mythical tale for instance the punishment
Island that tells of the pain and tears of many
Bakiga women abandoned on the Island and left
for dead for getting pregnant out of wedlock.
You will take part in an optional activity of
your choice;

13: Transfer to Kampala
Depart for
